France: Overview

The wide variety of landscapes, colors, flavors and perfumes makes it difficult to describe briefly a country like France. You can take a walk along the elegant boulevards, enjoy the ski slopes, the beaches and the vineyards or go to the museums, shows and small cozy cafés. In this country you will be thrilled and delighted by the constrasts between the modern cities and the small old villages as well as between the peace of the little towns and the bussy and noissy nights of the big cities.

France also has a very wide geography –it is the largest country in Europe- which makes possible a unique landscape diversity changing from the The Alps and Pyrenees great mountain ranges to the Loire River Valleys or the Atlantic coast beaches. The country’s origin goes back 50.000 years BC including the Roman Empire, splendid monarchies, revolutions and world wars that left their prints in rupestrian paintings, big palaces and castles, cathedrals and monuments.

Activities

There is a wide range of possible things to do in this beautiful country. No matter what you like doing or how old are you, you will shurely find something interesting and amusing to do and enjoy.

For example, you can visit wonderful cities like Paris, Lyon, Annecy and Chambery; practice all kind of sports as swimming, diving, fishing and cycling or see very interesting museums, exhibitions and theaters where many samples of national and international culture are held.
