Kitesurfing in Tarifa | Sports travel

Kitesurfing is one of the most practiced sports in the Spanish beaches. This sport is so easy to learn that can be enjoyed by almost everyone. You can train in any of the kitesurf schools located in Spain coasts, but the best place and the most visited by professionals is Tarifa, located south of the country and the most southern place of the European continent.

The geographycal location of this city, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet, and the two trade winds that blow the whole year round make this place ideal for kitesurfing. Tarifa is also known as the "capital of the wind." That same location gives the area a climate of hot summers and wet and soft winters.

In these beaches you will enjoy the sea, kitesurf, and the attractive landscape of mountains that surrounds the coasts. Many lovers of acquatic sports meet every year in Tarifa to practice their favourite activities.

The best beach here is Los Lances. There you will find the best eolic and marine conditions.
