the best way | Transportation
When I and my group decided to visit ethiopia I was thinking about the transportation system the country has, since we all like explorations specially via car I was really thinking and thinking …when we arrived in addis , having in mind the phone number of the G/MGR of one local travel agent, two of our friends have visited ethiopia before, our friends have told us that this is the easy way to be free from paying commissions and they also told us that this is the cheapest travel service giver in addis , after booking for a guest house I immediately call to the above mentioned person and I deal with him about the kind of car we wanna hire and we agreed on the price, the price he afforded was amazingly very low we were expected to pay only 90 Euro per day my group constitutes 4 members and proportionally it was around 22.50 Euro per day for each of us.when I try to check the price of other travel agents we were surprised by their price it was almost 5 times greater than the above price. finally we have decided to start our visit in the next morning we got to hire a land cruiser and explore ethiopian historical cities. here I have to say a lot about ethiopia ; ethiopia is a country with diverse cultures and traditions the ethiopians are so approachable and easy going. The first place we visit is Bahir Dar (lake tana), which is 565 km far away from the capital Addis Ababa, and different monasteries and historical orthodox churches situated at the islands of lake tana ; that was really amazing for sure you will be inspired by the amazing nature (specially if you appreciate nature) because there is no land roads to go to those churches and monasteries we were s forced to park our car at bahir dar with the driver and to use small boat (there you can get different bouts with different prices) after spending around 8 hours visiting the islands we have returned to bahir and spent that day by visiting some city areas of bahir dar. then in the next morning we ,with our driver, left for gondar ,one of the oldest cities of ethiopia and It was once the capital of ethiopia ,there you will see an amazing architectural design constructed before 400 hundred years (the emperor fasiledes palace) AND THEN WE VISIT AXUM …. THE AXUM OBLESKS in all this explorations our driver was so kind and served us as a tourist guide. We were not expected to pay for his accommodations he was to pay for all his expenses .here I have to say something about the travel agent if you are the one who loves exploring via car I recommend you to contact this travel agent this is the cell phone number of the company G/MANAGER +251 913 219649 and this is the reason why I am writing this down ETHIOPIA IS THE COUNTRY THAT ANY PERSON CAN VISIT BY SOME MONEY ,,,,JUST DO IT
